Catch-up Time

Hello to all our blog readers.  We are, once again, enjoying the hospitality of our hosts at the Pera Court Hilton in Townsville and now have the opportunity of updating our travel blog for you all to enjoy.

Unfortunately, the dial-up connection at Nairana is worse than last year and after three hours of trying to download our emails Mrs OGO decided that updating the blog was not going to be such a good idea. The alternative was to keep a journal in a folder on the computer and to publish the journal over a two day period whilst in the big smoke. 

So here it is - our adventures and travels so far for all to enjoy and share with us.  Our photo page has a sample of photos for you to view and enjoy and the page will be updated with more visuals when we return home in May.

Our annual trek to the Big Smoke is always seen as a lovely diversion from the isolation of the Park. Mrs OGO has the opportunity to share in the creativity of card classes, quilting, and some retail therapy with Mrs P for three days, whilst the OGO and Mr P reminisce over the "good old days in the world of ATC".

Our time shared with these special friends is always too short, but is always an enjoyable event full of laughter, good food, and even better wine.
